Any time she wants to know what anything is she asks, "What's this one?"
If I offer her more food while her mouth is still full, she says, "I swallow, Mama."
If she really doesn't want to, she'll say, "No. No-no. N-no-no-no-no-no."
She thinks that "push" is the magic word to make anything happen. If her Yo Gabba Gabba video stops playing on the computer, she says: "Push-a Brobee, Mama." If she wants me to flush the toilet, she says, "Push-a pee-pees." If she wants to talk to, say, Nana, while we're talking to Meme, she says, "Push-a Nana." If the reception goes out on the TV, she says it. On and on. And she says it so matter-of-factly, usually with a curt nod, as if to say, 'Yes. You will push it. Thank you for your cooperation.'
