The garden (and what a terribly modest one it is,) seems to be at long last shaped up. I cleared a large area along the side fence and moved over a long bench on which to set my pots of herbs.

While clearing (left to right,) I found about a hundred snails, which I collected in a pan, 'cause really, what else could I do with them...

Once I was finished clearing, I made a small plot to the side for the garlic and red peppers, in addition to all of the tomatoes (some heirloom, others not,) and eggplant given to me as gifts.

Someday I'll have a lovely little harvest, but for now, all there is to do is water and wait and look out for slugs.

Now if I could just manage to stop running into Poison Ivy...
