Today was the last Sunday morning "Pancakes" Ro and I will have the chance- the delight- to attend for a very long time to come. Without my mother purchasing my airfare out of desperation of seeing her grandchild, and the prospect of being employed again, travel seems like it won't be an opportunity for a good long while.
While I like to think I'll be back whenever I can be, I know the realist inside is reminding me not to get my hopes up. All the same, the people you see above will forever be my family and my home here in Arizona, and therefore I will always have a reason to come back.
